Some cryptocurrency exchange platforms are inflating their Bitcoin trading volumes to earn higher listing fees, but the market’s liquidity is still due to trading activity on tightly regulated exchanges. In mid-March, Bitwise Asset Management issued a damning report on Bitcoin (BTC) trading figures.
